Ph.D. Scholars
Akanksha Gotmare
She completed her B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Shivaji Science College and master’s in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, University of Hyderabad, as part of an Integrated Ph.D. program. She joined as a UGC fellow.
She works on unravelling the “Deciphering the regulatory function of Hsp90 cochaperones in Rad51 dependent HR mediated DNA repair pathway”.
Beyond research, she loves travelling and enjoys listening to music.
Shradha Khamitkar
She completed her bachelor’s and master’s in Biotechnology from V.G. Shivdare College, affiliated with Solapur University, Maharashtra. She has joined as a MAHAJYOTI fellowship in 2022.
Currently, she is pursuing her PhD, titled "Hsp90 and its cochaperone in regulating Plasmodium DNA replication”
Outside of her academic work, she enjoys dedicating her free time to art, which provides her with a creative outlet.
Apeksha Hedaoo
She completed her bachelor’s in Biotechnology from Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur and master’s in Biotechnology from the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, University of Hyderabad, as part of an Integrated Ph.D. program. She joined as ICMR-JRF fellow.
Her research focuses on “Cyclophilins as a modulator of HR mediated DNA Repair”
She loves drawing, dancing, cooking, and travelling in her free time. She enjoys exploring nature, trying new recipes and learning new skills.
Mansi Singh
She completed her B.Sc. lifesciences from CCSU University, Meerut.
M.Sc. Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
